John has been teaching graphic arts in higher education for 25 years. He has been the Digital Arts Program Director at Spartanburg Community College for 23 years. John recently co-authored an Adobe Illustrator workbook, "Level UP!". John is a graduate of Elon University and East Carolina University. He and his wife Tammy live in Boiling Springs, NC, the home of Gardner-Webb University, where Tammy has been teaching since 1990. When they are not home, they are traveling or hanging at the camper in the mountains of S.C.
