Rich Adams retired from Ryerson Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), School of Graphic Communications Management (GCM), and was appointed Professor Emeritus in 2021, after which he continued teaching part-time online. In November 2022 he came to Las Vegas and began teaching at the University of Nevada, Department of Art, Graphic Design and Media Program (GRC).

Rich received his Ph.D. from Cornell University and, being interested in the graphic arts since the fourth grade, went on for a M.S. in Printing Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology. After coming to TMU, Rich received an Advanced Certificate in Web Design from the Chang School of Continuing Education.

Rich is enthusiastic about design for both print and web.
